FIFTH DAY IN AALBORG

We came back in the Stolpedalsskolen to our last day in the job shadowing experience. 
Jorgen received us again and we had prepared our europass. 

We have talked with the 8th grade students about the presentations they did yesterday to their parents about drugs. 

Later, we went to the youngest area where pedagogues were preparing the summer market to the afternoon. It's a party where parents came to the school and students perform to them. The pedagogues team were making cakes to sell in the party and we have talked with them and the person in charge of music and the lottery they do. 

After lunch we went to the Katrina 5th grade class and we show them some of the videos that our students do in our classes. 



After say goodbye to our guests, we had visited the Kunsten museum, Museum of modern art. 
The building was design by the Finnish architect Alvar Aalto and is very interesting the use of light, the materials that reflect the light and the relation between architecture and the landscape surronding the building. 

Our day had finished with a last walk by the city centre and enjoying the views from the rooftop of Sallings, a shopping centre where we had dinner. 

FOURTH DAY IN AALBORG

First day with rain in the city so we have to go to school by bus. It seems difficult but at the end we did it. 

We had an appointment with  Torsten, the Deputy headmaster of the school to ask him different questions about the organization of the school, assessment, cohabitation, discipline problems, students who didn't want to work, reading plans, use of common spaces.  The conversation about the use of computers have been very interesting because it gives the opportunity the students to be independent and to deep into the knowlegde according their necessities. In another hand you can give the students different tasks according to their level and so, take into account the diversity of the students. 

THIRD DAY IN AALBOLRG

First day in Sofiendalskolen. 
Long way to school by bike again.

Jette our super kind host receive us. 

They are using computers that students don't take at home. They leave it in this cupboards

Jette classroom. We started with English classes. We started introducing ourselves and our school and city.

We really love the common spaces in this school. This is the teachers area. 

We felt in love with this huge multidisciplinary space. Library, reading and study areas with comfortable furnitures, little theatre...

We went to History classes wth Martin. The students presented their stop motion videos about the Christian the 4th.

We went visiting the centre and discovering other spaces like the cooking areas, extra activities area,  playground with greenhouse...

This vinil monsters reminded us to our school stained glass work.

At the end of our day we attended to the opening act to the new technological classroom.

Teachers in charge of this space show us different things that students are going to be able to learn there. Use of robots, 3D printers, cut printers...

SECOND DAY IN STOLPEDALSSKOLEN

English class with 5.A with Katrine.  Plans to travel with Ipads. Preparing presentations. Helping students with information about Spain and Japan.

Lunch in the school. Tapas.

Art class with Anna in 1st grade. Colour paper trees. Knowing new spaces of the school. Fascinating with the flexible use of the common spaces in the school.
